PRESENT POSITION
Frederick H. Thomas is the Chief Operating Officer of Marshall & Stevens Incorporated. He is the managing partner of the Capital Asset Valuation Group and the Employee Stock Ownership Formation Group.
EXPERIENCE
Active in the valuation profession since 1981, Mr. Thomas has functioned in a number of operational, financial and managerial positions. Mr. Thomas is responsible for coordinating, project managing and reviewing large multiple discipline projects. He also is currently responsible for the operations of the specialty services group, concentrating his time in the ESOP unit. He is responsible for the feasibility analysis of all ESOP transactions. Mr. Thomas also completes the ESOP formation, merger/divestiture and transaction financing. Transactions range in the small to middle markets ($3,000,000 to $100,000,000 financing).
EMPLOYMENT
Mr. Thomas began his association with Marshall & Stevens in 1981. From 1975 to 1981, Bank Building Corporation employed him as manager, financial analyst, and banking consultant, specializing in operations and strategic growth planning.
EDUCATION
Mr. Thomas holds a B.S. from the University of Missouri in business administration with a concentration in finance. He has attended numerous courses and seminars in the valuation and ESOP field. Mr. Thomas is a member of the National Center of Employee Ownership and the ESOP Association.
